‘Oh Romeo, oh Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?’. Sounds familiar? This is one of the most famous quotes by the renowned theatre poet William Shakespeare. Always dreamt of performing that line yourself? Or just curious why Juliet utters these words standing on her balcony? Then the Performing Shakespeare course is where you want to be!

In this course we will dive into the world of Shakespeare’s plays by ‘simply’ performing them. We will explore Shakespeare’s language, examine the many interesting characters as Hamlet and Lady Macbeth, and act out both comic and tragic scenes and storylines from Shakespeare’s plays. At the end of the course you will have all the basics in performing the work of William Shakespeare.
