The pace is slow, and the steps are simple, allowing you to focus on the basics and groove first. After that, you'll learn to memorize a choreography at an easy pace and make it your own. In Rebecca's classes, the focus is not only on technique and learning choreographies but also on enjoying dance and building the confidence to express yourself through movement!
What you'll learn:
- The basics of hip-hop: steps, groove, etc.
- Building physical strength and learning how to move your body to (urban) music
- Picking up choreographies and performing them
- Working towards a final performance (participation is optional!)

Urban dance
The term Urban dance allows for incorporating different styles and choreographies in the classes. Much of the music and dance comes from the hiphop scene, but it is combined with elements of feminine, house, and dancehall movements. You can expect a mix of these styles during the course. Depending on the song, the choreographies may have flowing or more robust, precise movements.
