Entry requirements: No knowledge of paper or bookbinding is required to participate in this course. However, it may be beneficial to have an idea of what kind of booklet you would like to make beforehand so that we can find a suitable style or form during the course!

The oldest known book was made in 600 BC, and the largest book in the world is 5 meters high and four meters wide. Bookbinding is a technique that has existed for millennia and has almost as many different styles! Incredibly fascinating.

In this course, you will learn to do this by hand with minimal tools. You will practice different binding methods, learn about different types of paper, and end up with several beautiful handmade notebooks. By the end of the course, you can take home some of your selfmade booklets!
