Entry requirements: You sing and/or master an instrument well enough to play together. And you enjoy making music together!
This musical course focuses on creating and performing together. With a group of 6 students, you will spend 10 weeks working on self-written lyrics, melodies and arranging song ideas. Guitarists, percussionists, pianists, singers, saxophone or ukelele, any instrument is welcome.
Each class you will be given a creative building block by teacher Helene Richter. Sometimes it can be a beat/sample, other times a melody, then a bass line, then some chords and other times a text. During the lessons, improvising/jamming together and listening to each other is also important where we can bring our ideas together and make a whole. It is important to give everyone a role in each song. You play (semi) acoustic and the lessons are unamplified (guitar amplifier and microphones are present, but no drums or full PA).
