Marco van Os graduated from the Utrecht Academy of Music as a teaching musician on bass guitar in 1999. His teachers were Theo de Jong and Frans Jan van der Hoeven. He has been teaching bass guitar and contrabass ever since. He also teaches in groups and in combinations. Aside from his work as a teacher, Marco is a much requested musician and features in different combinations and styles in theatres and on stages nationally as well as internationally.
