*English-, Spanish- and Dutch-speaking participants welcome

Entry requirements: none.  You will bring your own instrument to class (violin, bow, shoulder rest, etc.) to take the lessons. If you don't have a violin, you can rent a good quality violin from Maki Ishizuka Violin Society for a good price.

Do you want to start playing the violin, or are you advanced and do you want to deepen your knowledge? Then take a look at our private violin lessons. Classes can be given in English, Spanish and Dutch!

Beginner level: you will learn the basic techniques of violin playing. How do you hold the instrument in a comfortable and ergonomic way? How do you read notes and how do you feel the beat? This and more will be covered!

Intermediate level: you will learn how to play "in tune", introduction to scales, techniques such as vibrato and spicatto and how to play different styles of music such as classical music, pop music, Irish music, tango music, gypsy music and more.

Advanced level: you will learn orchestral fragments, the use of harmony in scores, effective study and techniques against stage fright.
