I am Carlos Gómez Lorente (born 1992), professional violinist and violin teacher.

I started playing the violin when I was 15 years old. As a result, I can clearly remember the methods and techniques with which I learned to play the violin. I definitely take these experiences into my teaching. These insights allow me to teach each student according to his/her desires and needs.

My passion for teaching began when my father and nephew wanted to learn to play the violin. Since then, I have continued to teach many students because I get energy and inspiration from my students. Over the past years I have taught many different students and because of this I have gained a lot of experience in using different methodologies.

Teaching is a great responsibility. My priority is to make the student have fun while learning and to stimulate musicality/creativity. Each student is different and has different interests, therefore each student will also be taught in a different way and using a different method. The styles I teach can range from classical to jazz, pop, etc. If you are looking for something special or want to try a different style of violin, I can help you with that.

I have taught both in Spain and in Holland to students of different levels: beginners, amateurs, advanced. So I teach students preparing for the conservatory, but also the very first beginners.

Being from Spain, I can teach in Spanish, English and Dutch.
