Whacking is a club dance style that originated in the 1970s within the vibrant Gayclub scene of Los Angeles. This dance style places a strong emphasis on expressiveness, striking poses, intricate arm movements, musicality, and groove. In its early years, Waacking drew inspiration from iconic Hollywood film stars like Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and more.
